Attorney- Client Confidential Relationship

First, I want to thank our clients for giving me theopportunity to assist them in their case. I am a legal professional andI have great pride and confidence in the legal services that I performfor clients during our relationship as attorney-client. This is not simply a matter ofobtaining just compensation for you, although that is very important; wetake professional pride in guiding our clients carefully throughdifficult times to a satisfactory conclusion of their cases.Confidential information includes, but is not limited to allinformation gained in the professional relationship that the client hasrequested be held secret or the disclosure of which would beembarrassing or possibly detrimental to the client. This includes notonly the matter revealed by the client to us, but also the identity ofwhat clients have been in to interview.
New Jersey Rules of Professional Conduct
RPC 1.6 Confidentiality of Information
(a) A lawyer shall not reveal information relating torepresentation of a client unless the client consents afterconsultation, except for disclosures that are impliedly authorized inorder to carry out the representation, and except as stated inparagraphs (b) and (c).
