    Mark Boutros is a Knights of Columbus field agent servicing Catholic families in Central New Jersey. Mark comes from a higher education background and was a professor at Brooklyn College and Kean University and has served in the administration at the City University of New York for over a decade before becoming a field agent with the Knights of Columbus.

       There are Major changes to NJ Estate Tax & changes to taxes on pensions effective Jan 1, 2017. Also, the new NJ Probate makes a number of substantial changes in Probate and the administration of estates and trusts in New Jersey. A bequest to a church or charity must be made clear and in writing.  
          
         Persons can make a bequest in their Will, or Codicil Addendum (form to Will) to leave money for their church or charity. Many people use charitable gifts in their Wills to perpetuate their beliefs and values.

    Kenneth Vercammen’s law office can draft a Codicil to members' Wills if they want to leave a gift to your church.  We will draft a reduced rate Codicil addendum to Wills if a parishioner wishes to leave a gift in the Spring 2017.  The Will and Codicil are confidential, but we recommend the parishioner provide a copy of the Will or Codicil to their church. Our usually fee for a codicil is $125. The reduced rate per codicil is $100. If a person does not have a Will we will reduce the fee for a simple Will from $400 to $225 each.

       Make a photo copy of prior Will
       Schedule appointment at our Edison law office Tues.-Fri. between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
